Transmission is crucial for vehicles as it transmits power from
the engine to the drive axle. It can be of two types: automatic and manual. The
later one is also termed as standard transmission. This transmission allows you
to choose the specific gear. Whereas Automatic is responsible for transferring
of engine power to the drive shaft. Transmission parts manufacturer must be transparent with the process of transmission.
Different parts need to work together for the smooth working of
transmission.set of gears, torque converter, hydraulic system has a specific
work, but they work together to give a smooth transmission.
Gear sets :
The automatic
transmission is different from a manual transmission. In manual clutch is used
to connect to the transmission and engine, whereas in automatic gears are at
one place. The input shaft is connected to the ring gear which gives power to
the driver.
The hydraulic system:
The transmission fluid has vital importance as gears are
drenched into the liquid. Fluid present creates the pressure which pushes the
clutch packs. Transmission parts manufacturer should be aware of the advantages of fluid as it lubricates
the parts and prevents friction, and transmission is kept cold. This system is
far most important for communication as working depends on this.

In manual transmission
when vehicles are not in use, then the driver must ensure the gear is in
neutral while in automatic the engines remains
on when the vehicle is at rest
and there is no need to keep the gear in neutral .
Nowadays, in most of the
car's computer controls the transmission and emphasis on prevention of fuel
sensors read all the details f the vehicles and system perform according to
that. Transmission part manufacturer
should do the detailed study of both the transmission.
