What Are The Automatic Transmissions And How Does It Works?

Have you ever drive a car with an advance trait then you know the significant difference between the automatic and manual transmissions. There is no gears shift and no clutch shift available in AutomaticTransmissions. Once you put the control in the driver's hand, then it will work automatics.
The automatic transmission is the type of vehicle transmission that can automatically manage the gear ratios as the vehicle moves. It accomplishes gear changes by hydraulic locking and unlocking a system of planetary glass.
Now we are aware of advanced features of the automatic transmission; the next question stuck in mind is how it works? Am I right? Yes.
The ring gear links to the parent gear with the sun gear are in dead on condition. Locked or unlocked planet gears are responsible for determining the gear ratios, and the planet gear revolves around the sun gear. The created rotational power is passed on to the external shaft, which is associated with the wheels.

Comparison of automatic with manual transmissions
Let's talk about the comparison with manual transmission. As we discussed earlier above the automatic transmissions now let's have a look at what terms it differs from a manual transmission.
a)     Clutches and bands:-
They are used to transmit the gear shift. In a manual transmission, the driver can manage the grip to changes gears based on engine speed. But in automatic transmissions, once the control puts in the hand of the driver, then it electronic works.

b)    Financial value:-
The other difference is in its price rating. The cost of repairing and maintenance of manual transmission is cheaper than the enhanced version of standard transportation.

c)     Gear Location:-
In a manual transmission, gear location is floor while in automatic its location is at the steering or on the floor.

d)    Convenient:-

Automatic cars are more comfortable and convenient to drive that can also be used in sports while in manual, greater control is in the driver's hand.
