Why automatic transmissions cars have a neutral gear

Neutral gear is provided in the Automatic Transmissions and after seeing this, the question comes in people's mind that why the neutral gear has been given. In today's time, automatic gearboxes are being offered in most cars. The automatic transmissions are quite different from the manual gearbox, which is feared by all drivers. Neutral gear is provided in the automatic transmissions and after seeing this, the question comes in people's mind that why the neutral gear has been given and what is its work.
Use of neutral gear in a car with automatic transmissions
Neutral gear has a distinct value in automatic cars. At the time of emergency, the neutral gear is used to save the lives of the people sitting in the car.

·         On applying a sudden brake: If you are driving at a high speed on the highway and suddenly you have to stop the vehicle, then only braking will not be enough, because the speed of the vehicle is fast, then put the vehicle in neutral gear and then brake. This will allow you to park the car. Some people turn off the engine at a time which is not the safest method because it will allow the steering to be removed from the engine. In such a situation, it is not possible to stop the car without damage.
·         For safe parking in case of brake failure: It is also often seen that when the brakes of the vehicle fail, people turn off the engine in such a condition which is not correct because this will remove the control on your steering wheel. As a result, the vehicle's wheel mechanism may be locked and the situation may be more dangerous. Shifting the vehicle in neutral gear allows you to toggle the car and park it easily.
